In this presentation, Dr. Carr will describe the role of psychological resilience in shaping aging processes. This presentation will introduce the concept of resilience as a psychological resource and highlight recent research that provides insights based on studies evaluating responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in later life. Dr. Carr will also describe some potential implications of these findings for increasing positive outcomes as people move through later life.
