Declaring an MJF major

Once accepted into Miami University, students may declare any of the Media, Journalism and Film majors in their first year or in subsequent years. Students usually declare their second major, or two minors, by sophomore year. Advising for MJF major coursework is done at the program level. Advisors usually are assigned after a student declares a specific MJF major.
