What Options Are Available?

  • Mock Interviews for Fall 2017 begin Sept. 4 and end Dec. 8
  • Mock Interview Daily (Recorded): Monday–Thursday | 0045 ASC | 8am–8pm | Last interview starts at 7pm; Friday | 8am–5pm | Last interview starts at 4pm
  • Mock Interview Daily (Unrecorded): Thursday | 0045 ASC | 1–5pm | Last interview starts at 4pm
  • Fall Semester Special Events
    • Accounting, Finance, ISA and all Economics Majors: Sept. 7 (9 am – 5 pm) at the Center for Career Exploration & Success at Armstrong Student Center
    • Marketing, Strategic Communications, and Management: Sept. 7 (9 am – 5 pm) at the Center for Career Exploration & Success at Armstrong Student Center
    • All Majors: Sept. 7 (9 am – 5 pm) at the Center for Career Exploration & Success at Armstrong Student Center

How to Schedule a Mock Interview

Basic Interviewing Skills: Anyone who intends to participate in a Mock Interview must attend Basic Interviewing Skills. You only need to attend once during your time at Miami. Have your resume prepared to upload into your Handshake account.

  1. Login to Handshake
  2. Click on the JOBS tab
  3. In the FILTERS field, type “Mock”
  4. Sort by: Expiration Date
  5. Select the Mock Interview Schedule that best suits your schedule
  6. Select APPLY NOW (though be certain you have completed Basic Interviewing Skills workshop—if not, this box will not be available)
  7. Upload your resume in PDF format
  8. Complete the Tailored Experience Form (Mock Interview Interest Form)
  9. Select the time slot that works best for your schedule. You will know you have done this correctly if, under the Student Column, it shows YOUR SLOT
