Trevor Israelsen's responsibilities as Assistant Director for the Center for Social Entrepreneurship span the Institute's three focus areas of enhancing teaching, research, and practice in entrepreneurship. Ultimately, his primary objective is to help students practice social entrepreneurship both during and after their time in the program. Trevor joined the Institute for Entrepreneurship after completing a master's degree in history from Miami University. He is an organizational scholar with research interests in institutions, entrepreneurship, and historical methods. Trevor understands entrepreneurship to be a broad, multilayered concept: a philosophy of history as well as a way of life and mindset for informing business practice, scholarly research, and the resolution of social problems.
