The Clothesline Project 2015

At the Hub Sept. 30, Oct. 1-2; t-shirt making begins Sept. 21

The Clothesline Project raises awareness about sexual assault, domestic abuse, and other forms of violence against women, inclusive of trans identified and trans feminine women. Survivors as well as their family and friends are invited to come to the Women's Center (127 McGuffey) to make a t-shirt to give voice to their experience. All supplies are provided. T-shirt making begins September 21 and continues through the end of the following week from 10 am - 4 pm each week day. The t-shirts will be displayed at the Hub from 10 am - 3 pm on September 30, October 1, and October 2. If you'd like to volunteer to help with The Clothesline Project, please stop by or call the Women's Center (529-1510). This annual event is sponsored by the Women's Center in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October).
