Join Us for Pumpkin Pride 10/29/15

The Women's Center and GLBTQ Services invite members of the Miami and Oxford communities to come together for a fun gathering devoted to pumpkin and cookie decorating. We'll meet at 212 MacMillan Hall on Thursday, October 29, from 4:00-6:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. This marks the third Pumpkin Pride that the two offices have co-sponsored. Immediately following Pumpkin Pride, author, activist, law professor, and founder of the Sylvia Rivera Law Project Dean Spade will be speaking on "Criminal Punishment Reform, Trans Politics, and the Problems with Mainstreaming" in 322 McGuffey Hall. Spade's visit is sponsored by Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies with support from Social Justice Studies, the Office of Diversity Affairs, and the Department of Political Science.
