Global Initiatives

Provides information, and support to international students, including programming, workshops, and mentoring; oversees faculty development to more effectively support international students; provides guidance on study abroad and international fellowships (e.g., Fulbright, Boren, etc).

Honors College

Provides information about and guidance on honors requirements and coordinates programming for Honors students; provides information and support for domestic and UK prestigious fellowships (e.g., Truman, Rhodes, Marshall, etc.)

The Miller Center for Student Disability Services

Partners with students with disabilities, campus departments, and faculty to develop individualized access plans, provide training opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives to promote disability as a form of diversity.

Office of Residence Life

Provides co-curricular programming and support (in one-on-one and group settings) to assist students in making healthy lifestyle choices; plans activities outside of the classroom that advance students’ academic and personal goals; and, cultivates a sense of belonging at Miami University.

Bernard B. Rinella, Jr. Learning Center

Provides academic support to all Miami University students through academic counseling, coaching, tutoring, and other support programs. Oversees support for students with disabilities, students admitted through the Scholastic Enhancement Program (SEP), and students who are part of the Access Fellows program. Collaborates with UAAC on academic intervention processes.

Student-Athlete Academic Support Services

Provides support to student-athletes, including additional study skills, mentoring, and workshops. Serves as liaison with divisional and departmental academic advisors.

Student Counseling Service

Provides holistic support for Miami University students' mental health wellness through a range of supports and services, including mental health counseling as needed.

Student Success Center

Collaborates with academic divisions to provide early alert and midterm interventions, as well as other data-driven student success initiatives. Supports first-generation college students, GradU8 students, student veterans, and Bridges students. Collaborates with academic advisors and academic support specialists to ensure a coordinated, consistent response for each student.
