Keeping pace with the evolving technological standards and requirements throughout industry and education, Miami is innovating curriculum and training in robotics and other highly valued industry disciplines. Manufacturing processes are transforming into an “Industry 4.0” paradigm, requiring new areas of instruction to stay current, but more importantly, to contribute to technological innovations.
This initiative is specially positioned to engage with regional industries by creating educational opportunities and experiences for a broad student demographic. Plans include stackable certificates for graduate study in advanced manufacturing, process control, and automation.
