By building graduate assistants into our research proposals, in academic year 2015-16 we were able to provide $50,136 in funding so students could receive hands-on experience with high-impact research projects. That translates to 9,345 graduate assistantship & summer research hours.

SUPPORTING FUTURE LEADERS

27 students attended 7 professional conferences. 9 PhD students and 8 MGS students gave 20 presentations. 10 of the presentations were in collaboration with gerontology faculty or Scripps research staff. In 2016 donors helped provide $10,969 For gerontology student professional development
