GFP graduate Lauren Moscar '23 wrote an article as part of her master's coursework. Her "Who Cares About the Pond? Promoting Backyard Biodiversity Through Residential Landscaping" article appears in The Palmetto. It is the official magazine of the Florida Native Plant Society and provided to members as a thank you for supporting the Society and its mission.

Moscar earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Biology from Miami through Project Dragonfly‘s GFP while working as the project manager of animal operations at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
