Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP) graduate Bonnie May '23 of Oceanside, California, asks us to consider the three-spined stickleback fish when restoring ecosystems. In her article, which appears in the Current Conservation Magazine, she writes: "...watershed management ought to consider the genetic diversity and evolutionary patterns of resident species, such as the three-spined stickleback, before causing physical alterations ... or reintroducing native predators to an environment."
