Typically, visits are arranged at the department level however throughout the academic year we offer several special events we invite you to join. Each is designed to give you a sneak peak at what life is like as a College of Creative Arts student before becoming one of Miami's many #ThrivingArtists.

Arts and Design Day

Join us Sept. 28 and Oct. 25, 2024 from 10am-2pm

Each year the Arts and Design Day provides prospective students with an in-depth exploration of the arts and design programs at Miami University. Students have the opportunity to:

  • Talk to faculty and current students about opportunities in Architecture + Interior Design, Art, Arts Management, Art Therapy, Emerging Technology in Business + Design, Fashion, Music, and Theatre.
  • Get advice on developing a competitive visual arts portfolio.
  • Learn about the audition process for theatre and music.
  • Learn about Miami's arts and design-related internships and opportunities.

    Sparkfest - April 25, 2025

    Sparkfest provides a unique opportunity for students to engage with the arts in a supportive and collaborative environment. With an array of captivating performances, installations, and interactive experiences, students can showcase their skills, develop creative connections, and best of all- try something new!

    Student-organized, student-led, and student-focused, this festival brings together a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including Architecture and Interior Design, Visual Arts, ETBD, Music, and Theatre, to showcase the incredible talent and passion of Miami's emerging artists.
