Miami Portfolio

The MIAMI Portfolio: past + present = future features exemplary work by fifteen former and current professors of art at Miami University. Spearheaded by Professor Ellen Price, who shepherded the project from concept to completion, the portfolio artwork was individually hand printed using lithography, woodcut or etching during the spring and summer of 2010, with all proceeds from the sale of a limited edition of thirty portfolios dedicated to art student scholarships.

The MIAMI Portfolio was featured in the Teaching Resources Project by Stephanie Danker's ART395 Art Across the Curriculum course, beginning in Fall 2015. Through the project, students created cross-curricular lesson plans for PK-12 educators that focus on a theme related to a work or artist's approach in The MIAMI Portfolio collection.

Miami University Art Museum purchased edition number 3; now part of its permanent collection, images of the fifteen prints from The MIAMI Portfolio appear below.
