Curricula Supported by The PS&E Foundation:

The curricula for Paper Engineering as a minor of either Chemical Engineering, Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering majors, and for Paper Science as a minor for Chemistry majors, provide in depth courses that focus engineering skills in the field of paper which allows students to apply their knowledge using hands-on experience with the pilot paper machine and during internships and co-op work experiences within the paper industry.

TAPPI

Miami Student TAPPI is an organization on campus that provides industry networking opportunities, arranges guided tours of paper industry operations, hosts guest speakers, and more. As a representative chapter of the national professional association, Miami Student TAPPI gives paper science students an outlet to learn and practice leadership, organize and execute successful fundraising campaigns, and pursue career opportunities with PS&E Foundation member companies and other industrial firms.
