Our peer career coaches are an important part of our team. They support Miami University students by reviewing resumes, holding practice interviews, and facilitating workshops.

Peer career coaches are undergraduate and graduate students who support their peers in their career exploration and professional development. In this role, you’ll:
- Offer guidance on job-search strategies and graduate-school materials
- Hold practice interviews and provide feedback
- Review resumes, cover letters, and Handshake/LinkedIn profiles
- Facilitate workshops and presentations
- Gain valuable leadership experience and professional skills that will help you stand out to employers
Peer Career Coach Presentations
Peer career coaches are trained by our career advisors to offer in-class presentations on career management topics. Presentations can be scheduled weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please submit your request at least two weeks in advance.
