Miami partners with Lakota Schools for program to promote early literacy
Miami University has partnered with Lakota Schools on a program designed to promote early literacy. The program is designed for Miami University students to learn directly from current teachers at Lakota while providing extra support to the youngest readers at Creekside Early Childhood Schools.

Kate Welling Disability Studies Event
On April 5th Miami is hosting DJ Savarese for a screening of his documentary Deej with a question and answer session to follow. The documentary is about DJ, a young man with autism and his journey to college. The film advocates for inclusion and calls that inclusion shouldn't be a lottery.
