AFSCME and FOP Agreements
Miami University recognizes two bargaining unions:
- American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) encompasses some classified maintenance and service positions.
- The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) includes the Miami University police officers (FOP).

The FOP Agreement officially recognizes the FOP, Lodge No. 38.
