Working Out of Band

An employee who works out of band, and performs higher level duties shall receive a four (4) percent premium for all hours worked out of band. The Employee may be assigned to do this work in writing or through verbal instructions, by the Employer.

Official Policy and Form

Article 25B(page 31) of the AFSCME Agreement includes the definition of an employee working out-of-band. Once it is determined that an employee's assignment falls under this definition, the Working Out-of-Band form must be completed and submitted to HR.
