We encourage departments to create their own student handbook which outlines their policies and guidelines. The following topics are examples you could include:
- Disciplinary actions
- Phone use/computer use
- Calling off
- Attendance/severe weather
You should provide your department's handbook to each student employee to ensure they know and understand the expectations and guidelines for the department.
