Campus closed Monday, Jan. 26; remote work authorized
Miami campuses will remain closed on Jan. 26; residence halls will remain open, and dining halls, the Recreation Center, and Student Health Services will open at 10 a.m

Due to the weather, Miami University’s campuses will remain closed on Monday, January 26. Residence halls will remain open, and dining halls, the Recreation Center, and Student Health Services will open at 10 a.m. All other services will be closed, and all events are canceled.
Classes will be canceled Monday, January 26, to allow students and families added flexibility in their return-to-campus. For students who cannot arrive by Tuesday due to the snow, communicate with your faculty directly.
Essential employees should be in communication with their supervisors regarding their on campus presence Monday, January 26. All other staff positions should not come to campus.
Managers and supervisors should utilize the university’s remote work policy and shift to remote work as appropriate Monday, January 26.
The Oxford Police Department would like to remind the Miami community that vehicles can not be parked on snow emergency routes during snow emergencies, and any vehicles will be ticketed or towed. Students may park at Ditmer and Chestnut Fields during snow emergencies.
As a reminder, information regarding Miami’s weather and closing procedures can be found online, and if severe weather requires further changes to Miami's normal schedule, it will be posted to Miami’s home pages MiamiOH.edu or MiamiOH.edu/Regionals.
