Samantha Gorenstein

...teaches STEM courses for grades 6-8 in Jefferson County, Colorado. She completed her Master of Arts in Teaching in the biological sciences from Miami University in 2017, and her AIP Master Institution was the Denver Zoo. She has participated in Earth Expeditions courses both as a student in Thailand, and as a Community Learning Leader in Australia, Costa Rica, and Brazil. She is a keeper assistant with Denver Zoo’s greater one-horned rhinos and Malayan tapirs. She also volunteers with a local organization, guiding monthly hikes for bereaved parents as a tool on their healing journey. Samantha is passionate about traveling and exploring new places through and with her two sons and husband.
