Shauna Steigerwald

… is communications and events manager for Adventure Crew, a Cincinnati, Ohio nonprofit that connects city teens with nature and each other through outdoor adventures. She manages email, social media and PR/media outreach while also co-organizing the nation’s largest paddling event, Ohio River Paddlefest. Her background includes environmental education and extensive experience in journalism -- 11 years as a reporter at The Cincinnati Enquirer and more as a freelance writer. Shauna’s byline has appeared on USA Today and National Geographic. She earned her master’s from the GFP program in 2018 and holds bachelor’s degrees in English and communications and a master’s in business administration, all from Xavier University. Shauna enjoys traveling, hiking with her husband, and curling up with a good book and her cats.
