Born and raised in The Bahamas, T'Noya Thompson cultivated a deep affinity for the ocean, which inspired her career path from an early age. Throughout her 25-year career, she has had the chance to volunteer and work with a variety of organizations and communities. T'Noya recently earned a Ph.D. in organizational leadership from Southeastern University. She owns Wild Spark Consulting, a business dedicated to fostering and nurturing leadership within conservation organizations through assessment, development, and facilitation. T'Noya is a board member of the Vermilion Sea Institute, Ecology Project International, and Ecochallenge.org. She also sits on the advisory council for A Rocha USA. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Biology from the Global Field Program at Miami University. A few of her favorite activities include growing in her faith, spending quality time with her beautiful family, traveling the world, dancing to great music, and making new friends!
