Some people choose a career path based on their interests or personality. Others opt to follow in the footsteps of someone they admire, like a family member or teacher. For Christina Unversaw, the impetus to pursue a career in nursing came at a very difficult time.
Since beginning her career in Miami University's Department of Nursing as an adjunct professor in 2006, she has been on the front lines of a program that has grown and expanded to include graduate degrees and a new, state-of-the-art Nursing Hub.

Launched in 2017, the English Studies (EGS) program offered at Miami University Regionals has grown steadily in the past four years, graduating a total of 77 students. This fall, the program enrolled its largest group of EGS majors so far, with more than 100 students.
