If this is a life-threatening emergency or someone's safety is in immediate risk: 

  • Calling from Oxford: Call 911 or MU Police at 513-529-2222.
  • Calling from Outside of Oxford: Call MU Police at 513-529-2222.

If the concern is URGENT but NOT life-threatening:

  • During business hours (M-F, 8am - 5pm): Consider calling Student Counseling Service (SCS) for a Crisis / Emergency Appointment at 513-529-4634. 
  • After business hours: The H.O.P.E. Line is a 24/7 crisis hotline for Miami students: 1-855-249-5649 OR the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

Non-emergencies and routine visits: call SCS during business hours to schedule an appointment: 513-529-4634.
