The Minor in Middle East and Islamic Studies

This minor offers students a firm interdisciplinary grounding on the cultures, religious systems, history, and politics of the Islamic world with an emphasis upon the modern Middle East. A minimum 2.50 GPA is required for all courses in the minor. Other relevant courses can be applied with the approval of the minor’s advisor.

Six (6) or more semester hours from the following (no more than 6 hours to be taken in any one department):
