Law and Public Policy Living Learning Community

The Law and Public Policy Living Learning Community exposes interested students to the legal profession and allows them to interact with other students with similar interests. Students living in the community have opportunities to participate in many diverse activities, events, and programs.

Law and Public Policy Scholars Program

The Law and Public Policy Scholars Program brings together students interested in exploring career opportunities in government, law, and politics. Scholars have many opportunities to explore their interests and prepare for the future:

  • Guaranteed placement in the Law and Public Policy Living-Learning Community
  • Priority registration for all pre-law courses
  • Interaction with guest speakers, allowing for a unique look at special lecture topics
  • Mentorship from a member of the Pre-Law Alumni Advisory Board
  • Preferential scheduling for interviews for 4th-year students with law schools during Miami's Law Day

Bridges: A Program for Excellence

The Bridges experience is designed for Ohio's high-achieving underrepresented high school seniors interested in learning more about the educational opportunities at Miami. The Pre-Law Program hosts an information session for those interested in pursuing pre-law.

Make It Miami

Accepted high school seniors are invited to visit the campus and meet with admissions for this one-day event during which prospective students with pre-law interests can learn more about the Pre-Law Program.
