Dr. Scott Mongeau, a Google Lead Solutions Engineering, will speak on the topic of cybersecurity data science on Friday, October 27th at 1:30pm-3:30pm in FSB 0032. His role drives public sector technical sales across Google Cloud, Alphabet, and partner products and solutions. Scott obtained his PhD in Management Information Systems, MBA and Master in Finance, Master in Communication and Media Research, and Bachelor of Philosophy in Computer and Communication Technology from Nyenrode Business University, Erasmus University, The University of Texas at Austin, and Miami University, respectively. He is an OR Society Chartered Scientist (CSci) and INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional (CAP). His recent book, Cybersecurity Data Science: Best Practices in an Emerging Profession, provides a systematic assessment of the cybersecurity data science domain from organizational, methodological, and technical perspectives.
