HLC Student Learning Outcomes

Students are also expected to master Higher Learning Commission (HLC) student learning outcomes. The CAEP Key Assessments provide us with evidence to evaluate whether the four HLC learning outcomes are met:

  1. Students evidence a solid professional knowledge base in school psychology that includes adherence to legal, ethical, and professional codes of conduct.
  2. Students plan and deliver intervention supports designed to improve the academic and mental health outcomes of a diverse population of students in schools.
  3. Students consult with educators and families through a collaborative problem-solving process.
  4. Students demonstrate data-based decision-making, using various methods of assessment and data collection to inform instruction and intervention.
