About the Digital Library

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I still purchase printed textbooks?

A: Yes. In fact, there are several options available to do this:

Option 1: Digital Library + "Print upgrade"

The Digital Library also has an option to purchase a "print upgrade" for any textboook for approximately $15 (with free shipping).  This provides a low-cost option to receive a 3-hole punch copy of the text.

Option 2: Digital Library + print your own

If you have purchased a Digital Library subscription, you may print directly from the website.  Printing is limited to 10 pages at a time, but there it no limit on the total number of pages you can print.

Option 3: Purchase your textbooks on your own

You are not required to purchase a digital library subscription.  You may choose to purchase your textbooks from the vendor of your choice.  You may need to request a list of required texts from the SEOH office or the course instructor in order to clearly identify the texts that are required and those that are optional or supplemental.

Q: Do I have to subscribe to the WHOLE digital library, or can I choose a single course or book?

A: You have several options. You may choose either a 6 or 12-month subscription to the entire digital library OR you may choose a subscription to an individual textbook or an individual course. However, choosing the entire digital library is often the most cost-effective solution. If you are subscribing for an individual course or text, please verify the required and optional texts with the instructor for the course before doing subscribing.

Q: Who can help me with the Digital Library?

A: Pearson 24/7 Support is available to assist you in any part of the subscription or access process. Information and contact options are available at:
