Teacher Job Fair

Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Location: Millett Hall


The purpose of the Teacher Job Fair is to connect Miami University teacher candidates (both undergraduate and alumni) with in- and out-of-state educational institutions.


Register for this event on Handshake. Cost of registration is $100 for one recruiter. 

Parking Permits

Parking permits are not required for employers for the Teacher Job Fair.

7:30 – 8:30 a.m.: Employer check-in and table set-up.

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.:
Meet and greet. Schedule interviews.

9:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Interviewing

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch

1:00 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Interviewing

Interview Scheduling

In addition to scheduling interviews during the Fair, you may pre-select candidates for interviews in Handshake.


Please limit 2 recruiters to a table. You can purchase extra tables as necessary during registration at a cost of $25/per table.

  • Electricity is available for $10 on request. Table position is dependent on outlet availability.

Payment Information

Registration - $100 (1 table & 1 lunch)
Extra Tables - $25 each
Extra Lunch - $15 each

Payment can be made by credit card at the time of registration. If credit card information is entered with your registration, a receipt will be attached to the confirmation.

NOTE: Credit card information can also be entered online at a later date by logging into Handshake.

If paying by check, be sure to include a copy of your invoice when remitting your payment.
