FSB professor's article named one of Harvard Business Review's Must Reads for 2024

A Farmer School of Business management professor’s article on navigating conflict and embracing mutual learning across generational differences has been named one of Harvard Business Review’s Must Reads for 2024.

"Harnessing the Power of Age Diversity" by Megan Gerhardt and FSB graduates Josephine Nachemson-Ekwall and Brandon Fogel was first published in HBR in March 2022 as part of its Big Idea Series.

“The article focuses on the strategies of Gentelligence, designed to help organizations view their intergenerational workforce as an opportunity, rather than a threat. To have our work selected for inclusion as a "definitive management idea" of the year is an honor,” Gerhardt said. “I'm hoping this allows us to continue to drive this conversation about the power of generational diversity in even more companies around the world.

The three are also co-authors of Gentelligence: The Revolutionary Approach to Leading an Intergenerational Workforce. Gerhardt also teaches an online program about Gentelligence.
