Credit Workshop Guidelines

A credit workshop is an enrollment-contingent, budgeted, academic program designed to encourage curricular innovation and provide service to special populations of learners, or to offer a course with a designated budget. A credit workshop proposal includes the details of the courses, program, and curriculum, as well as a financial plan, describing proposed enrollment and projected expenses. After the workshop, a final financial report is submitted detailing actual income and expense.

Guidance and Support

Key partners in proposal development and workshop management include department chairs and support staff, deans, associate and assistant deans, and faculty colleagues with extensive workshop experience. Workshop directors are encouraged to contact Global Initiatives as needed. Study Abroad program directors are encouraged to review the Miami University Travel Guidelines.
