Electronic W2s available in late January 2015

Electronic W2s

W2s will be available electronically in BannerWeb mid to late January 2015.  Accessing your W2 in BannerWeb results in a cost savings for Miami, gives you quick and easy access and keeps your sensitive information from being sent through the U.S. mail and possibly being lost or stolen.

Directions to electronically access and print your 2014 W2 are as follows:
1. Log into BannerWeb
2. Click the Employee Service Online tab
3. Click Tax Forms
4. Click W2 Year End Earning Statement (You must have completed the Electronic W2 Consent option to view and print your 2014 W2)
5. Select 2014 from the drop down menu
6. Click the Display button
7. Select Print

Please note: You will need to have Two-Factor Authentication activated to access your W2 electronically.  If you have not activated Two-Factor Authentication, please contact the IT help desk at 529-7900 for assistance.

W2 Paper Copies sent U.S. Mail

If you would like to request that a paper copy of your W2 be printed and mailed to you through the U.S. mail, that option can be selected by completing the following steps:
1. Log into BannerWeb
2. Click the Employee Services Online tab
3. Click Tax Forms
4. Click Electronic W2 Consent, scroll down and uncheck the check box and then click submit.  This will record your request to have your 2014 W2 printed and mailed to you.

Please note: If you want a paper W2, it’s important that you make the appropriate changes in BannerWeb beginning on Dec. 4, 2014, and no later than Jan. 5, 2015, by 5 p.m. Failure to act by 5 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2015, will mean you’ll only receive an electronic version of your W2.
