Get your tickets now: One Miami Weekend, Jan. 5-6, and join the fun

It’s time to get fired up for an exciting weekend with Miami Athletics and One Miami Weekend.

There is still time to get tickets to take part in this exciting weekend. In addition to key games against conference rivals, here are some of the other highlights for the weekend:

Carnival on the Concourse (Saturday basketball)

Beginning when doors open at 12 p.m. and running through 12:50 p.m. (prior to tip off for the women’s game) and open again in between the women’s and men’s games there will be a Carnival on the Concourse for your younger fans. This includes several inflatable games, a bounce house, life-sized Twister game, 9-hole putt-putt course, giant checkers and Connect Four, as well as a coloring station. Parents/guardians need to stay with their children while they play in this area. There also will be a photo booth located on the Millett Hall concourse for all of our fans to commemorate their day, which will be available through the start of the second game.

Indiana Pacers Power Pack Dunk Team (Halftime of Saturday’s first basketball game)

Back by popular demand, the Power Pack Dunk Team will perform during the women’s basketball game. This high-flying act from the Indiana Pacers is high-energy and a must-see halftime performance.

Autograph Session (After Saturday’s second basketball game)

Both the Miami men’s and women’s basketball teams will hold an autograph session following the men’s game on Saturday. Get autographs and take pictures with your favorite RedHawks! Autograph cards will be available for fans to have signed.

Skate With the ‘Hawks (After Saturday’s hockey game)

After Saturday’s game, fans can skate on the main ice with the RedHawk players. Skate rental is free for this event at the skate shop in the lobby of the Goggin Ice Center for those who have tickets to Saturday’s game.

The Miami University Bookstore and Fanatics have great apparel deals for fans as part of One Miami Weekend.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY BOOKSTORE - At hockey, for every goal scored during that night’s game, get 10% off one item at the end of the game. (Max 50% off one item.) Example: four goals would get 40% off one item. At basketball, for every point scored in the first half, get that percentage off one item during the second half of the game. (Max 50% off one item.) This will run for both the men’s and women’s games. These are only available on game days at the respective venues.

Get Your Free Tickets to the Games

There is still time to get your free tickets to the games. All Miami University faculty and staff may get free tickets to the basketball games (one ticket gains entrance to BOTH games) on Saturday, January 6 for themselves and their families. Additionally, Miami faculty and staff can choose one hockey game to attend this weekend (now at standing-room-only), receiving up to four free tickets and getting a reduced rate for additional tickets.
