Celebrating Global Sisterhood March 8: Register to attend

Miami University alumna Camisha Chambers is the keynote speaker for Celebrating Global Sisterhood at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Heritage Room of Shriver Center.

The 2005 graduate will speak on the intersectionality of faith, identities and social activism. Her address is titled, “From Second Class Citizens to #TimesUp: The Exploration of God’s Multifaceted Woman.”

The event also features student testimonials and performances along with the presentation of the Jennie Elder Suel Distinguished Woman of Color Award.

Light refreshments will be available. Celebrating Global Sisterhood is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
