ETBD Faculty Office Hours
Academic Advisors
You have an academic advisor who will help you schedule classes, read your degree audit, and provide career advice.
To determine your advisor, visit myMiami and select the Student tab. Your advisor is listed in the top right corner.Spring 2022 Tutors
Each semester advanced ETBD students are available to tutor students enrolled in ETBD foundation courses. These tutors have been appointed for spring 2022:
- Madison Cobb
- Grace Cox
- Chloe Whaley
All work with general ETBD coures. Grace Cox also works with Games courses.
Tutoring occurs in Laws 204 on a drop-in basis only. The service is available through the final week of classes, May 2-5. There is no tutoring during spring break or exam week.

The hours are always posted on the whiteboard at the end of the hall in Laws near room 205.

Courses may not be offered every semester. Please consult with Miami’s most recent course list for available offerings.

Force adds are now requested through a Registration Override Request (ROR) during registration.
Registering for more than 20 hours
You need to get permission for excess academic hours from the divisional advisor, Gretchen Radler. However, there are specific criteria under which a student would qualify for excess hour permission. Please be aware that excess hour permission is not always granted.

Digital Innovation Center Programs: San Francisco, Cincinnati, and Luxembourg
Four days a week students intern at some of the most dynamic startups in the world. One day each week students are privy to behind-the-scenes looks at startups, accelerators, and venture funding firms, even as they are coached by top executives. Students have regular opportunities for networking. and they participate fully in the startup cultures of their respective locations.
