Student artists find success at SummerFair’s 2024 Emerging Artists Exhibition

Miami University art students Clair Farrow, Hannah Litt, Lana Traum and Sam Weible represented the art department at the SummerFair’s 2024 Emerging Artist Exhibition.
The exhibition opened on Feb. 9th and closed Feb. 23. Held in the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, it featured the work of junior and senior art students from colleges in greater Cincinnati.
Litt, a senior art and art education double major, also took home the exhibition’s third place award.
Each of these students were nominated by their faculty to participate. These artists represent the next generation of artists to emerge on the local art scene.
Cycles, 2023. Ammonite fossils and sterling silver with liver of sulfur patina. Pendant 3.5 x 1 x 0.25; Earrings 2.5 x 1 x 0.5 inches (H x W x D).
Convalescent Bonds, 2023. Reticulated sterling silver and red coral. 2.5 x 6 x 0.5 inches (H x W x D).
The Stains Left Behind, 2023. Sterling silver with liver of sulfur patina, white pearls. 6 x 5.5 x 0.25 inches (H x W x D).
