- Clicking on the Download R link will take you to the CRAN Mirrors page. A mirror is simply a location from which you will download the necessary files. Scroll down the page and choose a mirror closest to your current physical location. For example, Miami students would likely choose Wright State University since it is located in Dayton, Ohio.
- Next, select your operating system.
- Select the appropriate set of files to begin your download. Use default settings during the installation process.
