We are pleased to announce that a new scholarship has been created to help support our students during their semester of student teaching. Any student who intends to student teach this fall and has a 3.5 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply. The scholarship is competitive and valued at $4,000. The application requires an uploaded degree audit showing gpa, and a personal statement regarding one’s desire for award consideration. Applications for fall student teachers are due April 1. Spring semester student teaching scholarship applications will be accepted this fall.

Teacher Job Fair 2019

There are many employment-related events this month culminating with the April 3 Teacher Job Fair. More than 50 entities will be in attendance - the majority of which are hiring special educators! Attendees will meet with school system representatives and interview with those for whom there is mutual interest. The fair is open to Miami University undergraduates, graduates and alumni of the College of Education, Health & Society.

Additional career programming for educators is available on the Center's website.
