Career Academy will travel to Washington, D.C., with 20 talented and diverse students to expose those students to business perspectives in various industries.
The Washington experience is a chance to have small group interactions with high profile employers. In addition, participants will be able to network with alumni.
What is Career Academy?
Career Academy is a group of distinguished scholars and young professionals that aim to promote and maintain high standards, advance their cultural competencies and professional development.
Career Academy Participants (CAPs) are perpetual learners in their quest to lead in the world of work. CAPs will:
- Experience intensive professional and educational development prior to departure
- Identify personal goals and how international travel will impact post graduate success
- Communicate the impact of global competencies learned or gained during the Academy
- Develop global networking skills
