Biography
Dr. Carol McGuire is an Assistant Teaching Professor, focusing on teaching foundational concepts of MIS to the FSB student community. She holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a BS from Miami University in Organizational Behavior and MIS.
Dr. McGuire brings practical relevance into the classroom through her extensive industry experience leading functional areas of IT in large organizations. She is the 2019 recipient of the Richard K. Smucker Teaching Excellence award for Outstanding Clinical Faculty Member.
Her research work has appeared in the annual conferences of the Association for Information Systems, International Engaged Management Scholarship, and Academy of Management.
In addition to her teaching duties, Carol is the Managing Partner of a management consulting firm specializing in strategic IT issues within organizations.
