Biography
Peter A. Salzarulo is an Endres Associate Professor Fellow in the Management Department, Farmer School of Business. He joined Miami in 2006 after earning both his M.B.A. and Ph.D. from Indiana University. During his time at Miami he has taught courses in the areas of quality management and manufacturing planning and control. He also teaches in the Farmer School's Professional MBA program.
His primary research area is healthcare operations where he has studied such topics as physician contracting, the placement of specialized health services, and outpatient appointment scheduling. His research appears in the Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers & Operations Research, and the International Journal of Production Research, among other outlets.
