Rob Schonlau is an Associate Professor at Miami University, Farmer School of Business. His research focuses on the mechanisms that influence CEO and director incentives around important corporate decisions like acquisitions. These mechanisms include corporate governance policies, compensation practices, antitakeover provisions, and CEO and director labor markets. Prior to joining the Miami faculty he was an Assistant Professor at Brigham Young University and an instructor and Ph.D. student at the University of Washington. He has experience teaching various Investments and Corporate Finance classes at both the undergraduate and MBA levels.
