Biography

Dr. Ruiyun (Rayna) Xu is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on financial technology, artificial intelligence, venture capital, information retrieval, and blockchain. Her work has been published in Journal of Management Information Systems and Decision Support Systems. She also holds two U.S. Patents on textual data search methods. Before joining MU, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and as a senior research assistant at the University of Hong Kong.
