If you are experiencing an emergency, you can seek immediate help by calling 911. This number will connect you directly with a police dispatcher. The dispatcher will ask questions about your emergency and location and connect with you with emergency personnel. This number is available 24 hours, every day.

In addition, Miami University also provides over 20 blue light emergency kiosks throughout campus. If someone is in need of help, they can reach Miami University Police Department with a touch of a button. These kiosks light up blue at night, making it easier to find help when needed.

If you are not experiencing an emergency but need to report a possible crime or safety concern, please call Miami University Police at 513-529-2222.

The City of Oxford provides recommendations and resources for a variety of issues and possible security concerns regarding yourself, your home, and your belongings. You are encouraged to sign up to receive public safety alerts by text message or email.
