Like your student, you have a busy schedule; but don't let that keep you from enjoying some of this year's exciting campus activities and events! They provide the chance to catch up with your student, meet new friends, and explore Miami yourself!

Miami Family Calendar - 2025-26

Families of incoming students receive a printed calendar of important dates, deadlines, and reminders at orientation. Families of returning students or that are not able to attend orientation can request one be mailed free of charge. 2025-2026 dates and deadlines can also be found in the Miami Family Connection.

  • This calendar provides a listing of most Miami events, large and small, taking place on campus each week.
• Residence Hall Opening and Closing Calendar
  • View this calendar for the dates and times when residence halls open and close during the year, around times such as Thanksgiving and spring break.
• Family Weekend
  • Visit the Family Weekend website to see a social media recap of the most recent weekend and the events offered. Fall Family Weekend dates are set and announced mid-spring each year. It's the best time to come back!
