When does eLearning happen?
eLearning happens at a time and place that work for you. Most online learning is developed with an asynchronous schedule. While the work is rigorous -- as you would expect from a "public Ivy" like Miami -- you can work at your own pace and “attend class” (virtually, of course) at a time that makes sense based on your schedule. Of course, there may be group meetings, presentations or exams that all students do together at the same time, connected by course software and videos.
This untethering of students from the physical classroom opens up a world of opportunities to pursue internships, work, travel in any part of the world while continuing to complete classes.
