Freedom Summer of '64 Award

Given to both groups and individuals, this annual award is intended to keep alive the memory of those who sacrificed to ensure the right to vote, for others’ freedom, and civil rights for all. For more information on those honored, see Freedom Summer of '64 Award.

Nominations for the 2024 Freedom Summer '64 Award are currently closed. We invite all faculty, staff, alumni, and students to nominate individuals or organizations with exceptional trajectories as champions of civil rights and social justice.

 

University Inclusive Excellence Awards

Launched in 2019, these awards recognizes Miami University's commitment to maximizing the potential of every member of the Miami community and celebrating both our unity and our differences. For a list of award winners, see University Inclusive Excellence Awards.

Nominations are open for the 2023-2024 University Diversity and Inclusion Awards. For full consideration of your submission, please complete all nominations by Friday, March 1, at 5pm.
