Supply Chain and Operations Management
Supply chain and operations management (SCOM) involves managing the flow of goods and services among businesses and between businesses and consumers. The SCOM major combines courses in information systems, operations management, marketing, logistics, and sourcing. The integration of these disciplines allows students to understand the interaction among these areas and how these courses and their linkages enable a firm to produce and move goods and services in the most competitive manner. SCOM students are taught by faculty who have won numerous teaching and research awards. Our SCOM faculty is rated top 5 for research productivity in non-PhD institutions.
